Holiday
festivities in Long Grove Historic Village begin in Mid-November
with carolers, lighting of the holiday tree, Santa sightings,
and the magical sound of chimes all over the historic village.
Carolers will stroll the downtown area throughout the afternoon,
and the tree lighting will take place in Apple Haus Square. The
holiday season in Long Grove Historic Village reflects the sounds,
sights and the hospitality of a bygone era, along with some of
the most unique shopping in the Chicagoland area in the town’s
trendy shops, boutiques, galleries, and food specialty stores.
The magic of the holiday season comes alive with a full schedule
of family-friendly activities, including horse-drawn carriage
rides, visits with Santa, live reindeer, live entertainment, and
the Chimes of Long Grove. Admission and parking are free.
